Un buen sitio para comer carne y comida colombiana. Las raciones son generosas. Uno no se puede perder el plato Paisa pero hay que ir preparado para comer.

Bad service, worse restaurant in Aruba If you are not Colombian looking then visist Don Jacinto to get discriminated. First time we entered this restaurant, nothing is asked besides... read more “how many people”, while I had a online reservation already. We all sat on super uncomfortable chairs, 2 uneven tables were pushed to accomodate us plus we waited half hour and still no sign of a waiter… I saw 2 groups entering some time after us and within 5 min the waiters were attending them, bringing water. We left as we were with kids and they were hungry. Nobody from the restaurant was interested in the reason leaving, so they dont even are willing to improve! They were just standing and watching. In any other restaurant in Aruba you get attended and welcomed at least with water which is for free especially when you enter with children. But this restuarant will never see us nor will I ever recommend to anyone!

Had the Carne Campesina, which in the pictures may look a little more like a flank but it’s definitely not steak it’s beef stew which is fine but it was... read more very tough and dry. It was also very salty which led me to believe between the toughness and saltiness that the food wasn’t made fresh. Layout or experience also wasn’t anything special so I probably wouldn’t return.

Deliciosa comida colombiana. Buena ambientación del lugar. Excelente atención. Menú del día a buen precio, $8 dolares, incluye vaso de agua al llegar, sopa, plato fuerte y bebida. Muy recomendado.

Food was decent, but the service was lacking. I don't know if our waiter was in a bad mood or something be he didn't even check if we were doing... read more ok. He just gave us our food/drinks and left. Didn't even introduce himself. On top of that we kept saying "happy birthday" to my father and he didn't even bother to say happy birthday to him.

No one we talked to cabbies, hotel personnel, other guests had been to this restaurant; made us a bit nervous. One comment was “that’s Colombian, isn’t it?” Yes... read more indeed it IS Colombian and well worth a visit. Not visited by many “tourists” by the looks we got when we arrived. Or maybe it was because we were a pair of octogenarians! Anyway, the reception was great, the tables and chairs a bit hard, but the warmth of the server, the quality of the drinks and food made up for the lack of sophisticated environment. It was truly authentic. My seafood ceviche was lovely and the red snapper (head on) was fantastic. The margaritas to start were fresh, tart and strong. The wine was a Pinot Gris and it was crisp, flowery and cold.
No, it was not on the water. No, it did not exude a great deal of wealthy encountrements, but the food, drinks and staff were incredible good. A great find.

My wife and I wanted authentic Colombian food. I had the Bandeja Paisa which includes rice, beans, chorizo, pork rinds, Colombian-style ground beef, a fried egg, avocado, plantain slices and... read more arepa. It was delicious. The wife had Grouper a la plancha which was also yummy. The waitstaff was good and the price can't be beaten. For the meals, drinks and a tip, I paid 77.50 Aruban Florins.

Don Jacintho is a must do when going for lunch. They have lunch specials which are a great deal. The service was great.

Our first time having Columbian food - and we absolutely loved it. It was delicious. I would love to share which dish I had, but cannot get the menu to... read more pull up on their website. Very good - fresh, just delicious. Was like a stew with tomatoes and green peppers and then rice and arepas on the side - hoping to find something similar here at home... SO GOOD!

To describe this place is very affordable and good food. This colombian restaurant has a little bit of everything, music, great food, and the staff was attending. We liked it... read more so much we came here 3 times. By the way they don't open for breakfast. It open at 11AM. But we still enjoy the food we get the Bandera paisa. 3 glasses of wine my wife got tge same and dessert, about $60. Very cheap. We had gone to another place but food was horrible, EL CHALAN (perubian) disgusting. We end up returning the ceviche, and the main course, wasn't all that at all.
