It was also very salty which led me to believe between the toughness and saltiness that the food wasn’t made fresh. Layout or experience also wasn’t anything special so I probably wouldn’t return.

They didn't bring glass or water nothing. After 27 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave the restaurant and no one even asked us that why we are leaving, never saw such a bad service ever. I wish I can give them less than one star, it was my daughter's birthday and they ruined it completely.

No one we talked to cabbies, hotel personnel, other guests had been to this restaurant; made us a bit nervous. One comment was “that’s Colombian, isn’t it?” Yes... read more indeed it IS Colombian and well worth a visit. Not visited by many “tourists” by the looks we got when we arrived. Or maybe it was because we were a pair of octogenarians! Anyway, the reception was great, the tables and chairs a bit hard, but the warmth of the server, the quality of the drinks and food made up for the lack of sophisticated environment. It was truly authentic. My seafood ceviche was lovely and the red snapper (head on) was fantastic. The margaritas to start were fresh, tart and strong. The wine was a Pinot Gris and it was crisp, flowery and cold.
No, it was not on the water. No, it did not exude a great deal of wealthy encountrements, but the food, drinks and staff were incredible good. A great find.
